Geraldine Javoy studies at the Ecole de Louvre I Paris. Graduating in 2000 after seven years of study she is one of the few to have completed the these specialising in hand printed wall papers of the 18th and 19th centuries. Moving to London in 2000, Geraldine undertook a stint at both Sotheby s and Bonham s auction houses. However, with the advent of a young family and an accompanying wish to return to a more tactile pursuits she began training to become a bookbinder with Shepherds of Rochester Row, London. She launched her web site in 2007 and participated to numerous private sales in South West London. She recently moved with her family to Nohoval, Co. Cork. Geraldine creates by hand a wide range of paper craft from journal to guest books to albums to frames. Each product is hand made with the most refined Japanese papers and silks. For special occasions she can also customise any of the products available. |
