Sponsored by Bord Bia

Winner:

Irish Yogurts Ltd., Clonakilty

In many ways the company that defines best practice in its application of the brand. Irish Yogurts uses the logo extensively – the logo is is four prominent locations on the six pack in addition to being printed on the individual tubs. It is also used on their website, company cards, stationary and all printed material. But going beyond this the products also carry a brief description of the brand values.

Key to the application of the brand is the use of a sense of place in defining the product and this comes through strongly – the county address is West Cork and the packs advertise the Clonakilty website. The products themselves largely use local raw materials – milk, many native fruits etc. and are produced in traditional churns. The company has been outstanding in terms of its participation in Fuchsia initiatives.
